Hermes Belts

 

The iconic 'H' belt. What is there to say except...who doesn't want one? It is the belt of all belts, and the fact that it is reversible  makes it even better. However, like all things Hermes, it is extremely hard to come by, and if happen to find it in the Hermes store, the majority of the time it probably is not the size or colour you are looking for.

What makes everyone want it that much more, is that Hermes will not put you on a waiting list or call you when it comes into the store.

So if you are on the market for an H belt, all I can say is good luck, and if you are lucky enough to find you size..buy it! xx

Liu Wen

Many of you would be aware of who this gorgeous girl is, but for those of you who don't know, you may be asking...who is Liu Wen?

Liu Wen is a Chinese fashion model and the first Chinese model to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

First establishing her career in the Chinese editions of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, she broke onto the international stage in Paris on the Spring 2008 runways of Chanel and Jean Paul Gaultier. Since then, Liu Wen has become a fixture on the runways of New York, Milan and Paris, walking in 49 shows for the Autumn/Winter 2010 season for designers including Derek Lam, Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera, Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Salvatore Ferragamo and Balenciaga and shooting editorials with the world’s top fashion photographers. Most recently Liu Wen has appeared on the cover of Chinese, French and Japanese Vogue.

Liu Wen wont be disappearing anytime soon, with her stunning features and gorgeous smile, she has an amazing career ahead of her!

 

SUNDAY

Sunday was the only day this weekend that the weather decided to stay relatively normal ( unlike Saturday, where it was constantly raining!). So my friend Lacey and I decided to venture out to do some "window" shopping. Although we can never just do window shopping, as there is always something we "have to have!".

I decided on wearing a Manning Cartell  jacket, Blank NYC pants, wedge boots as they are super comfortable, Sass & Bide bag, Thurley scarf and jewellery that was bought for me from Botswana.

Haute Couture

Given that haute couture is eccentric and extremely detailed, it’s not surprising that designers rarely send models down couture runways in just a ponytail and a dab of lip gloss.

Haute couture is in reality the designers’ fantasy world, where they can live out the creativity playing in their minds.

As haute couture is custom-fitted for a client, couture makeup can be built to suit each face or garment, as custom makeup reflects the highest level of luxury and extravagance.

To sum it up in one sentence?

There are no limits in a haute couture fashion show, which means it will always be magical.
