Cécile the brand

The brand "Cécile presque parisienne" creates unique and original tee-shirts and singlets that are designed to be very fashion forward, each with a cute and destinctive design. I had been waiting for quite a while to acquire myself a few pieces from the collection, so when they came into Green with Envy, I made the executive decision to purchase a few over the phone. ( luckily I did this, as they sold out at an unbelievable speed)

 





The summer 2013 collection is inspired by animal print, vintage polka dot paper, flying flags, Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, movie credits and French street tags and a collaboration with designer Athena Procopiou.

Y-3 - Nomad Wedge

Las Vegas is a world on its own. To describe the craziness and energy in this city is impossible.

Whilst walking around one of the casino malls, I came across a store  by the name of Y-3. Inside I found a range of clothing and shoes that were completely different to anything else I have come across. One shoe in particular was the NOMAD WEDGE.

Here is a bit about the brand:

The Y stands for: YOHJI YAMAMOTO

The 3 represents ADIDAS’ THREE SIGNATURE STRIPES

And the dash represents the bond between the two.

Using the avant-garde aesthetic of the well known and extremely creative mind of Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto with the breakthrough technologies of adidas, Y-3 has created a completely new category within fashion, composed of equal parts luxury, style, craftsmanship, and forward-thinking design.

SUNDAY

Sunday was the only day this weekend that the weather decided to stay relatively normal ( unlike Saturday, where it was constantly raining!). So my friend Lacey and I decided to venture out to do some "window" shopping. Although we can never just do window shopping, as there is always something we "have to have!".

I decided on wearing a Manning Cartell  jacket, Blank NYC pants, wedge boots as they are super comfortable, Sass & Bide bag, Thurley scarf and jewellery that was bought for me from Botswana.

ZARA

 

Today’s shoot was dedicated to the opening of the ZARA store at Chadstone Shopping Centre. I bought this shirt at such a good price..only $70..that is seriously a bargain. I am really impressed that none of their clothing is made in China, yet they still manage to keep their items at a great price!

Today was spent in Melbourne CBD with my friend Lacey (we always find ourselves shopping on the weekend).  A great day all around. I was very impressed with Willow’s new collection..the cutting and fabrics used are just sensational.

Manning Cartell are killing it this season! I fell in love with every item in the store, and bought myself an amazing jacket that will feature on my blog next week.

The afternoon was then spent having afternoon tea in a gorgeous tea house, a great way to end the day.

The sun has started to shine in Melbourne, which is great news, as this means Spring is just around the corner!

Im in love with this Dion Lee top I’m wearing for this shoot…actually I fell in love with everything Dion Lee, and you can see why.. the structure, detail and fabric is amazing.

This necklace was a great find too..from an Italian designer, who makes amazing silver jewellery.
